Location & Opening Times:
QVMAG has two locations:
- The Museum at Inveresk: This main location houses the history and natural sciences collections. It's open daily (except Christmas Day) from 10 am to 4 pm.
- Queen Victoria Art Gallery: Located at Royal Park, this gallery showcases the visual arts and design collection. It shares the same opening hours as the Museum at Inveresk.
Pricing:
Entry to QVMAG is free for all visitors, making it an accessible and budget-friendly activity. However, donations are always welcome to support the museum's ongoing efforts.
Important Information:
- Guided Tours: Explore the museum and gallery with a knowledgeable guide. Tours are available for a fee and can be booked in advance.
- Planetarium: Immerse yourself in a celestial adventure at the on-site planetarium at the Inveresk site. Shows run throughout the day and require a separate ticket.
